Staatssekretariat für internationale Finanzfragen (SIF)

The State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) is a Swiss federal agency within the Federal Department of Finance responsible for representing Switzerland's interests in international financial, monetary, and tax matters, and for developing the regulatory and legislative basis for Swiss financial market policy. It is the lead federal body on cross-border financial regulation topics including FinSA/FinIA implementation, AEOI, FATCA, and the alignment of Swiss corporate reporting law with EU standards such as CSRD.
