Threema GmbH

Threema GmbH is a Swiss encrypted-messaging company founded in 2012 and headquartered in Pfäffikon SZ, providing end-to-end encrypted messaging to over 12 million users and 8,000+ organisations via consumer, enterprise (Threema Work), and on-premises (Threema OnPrem) products. It is the subject of the 2021 Bundesgericht ruling that set the core Swiss legal classification test for encrypted-service providers under surveillance law.
