Les Éditions Albert René is a French comic-book publisher founded in 1979, wholly owned by Hachette/Lagardère since 2011, holding all intellectual property rights in the Asterix and Obelix universe including international licensing; it is the registered proprietor of the well-known Obelix trade mark at the centre of the T-24/25 ruling on Article 8(5) reputation protection.
